Teton County Library Foundation & Friends Announces Leadership Transition and Search for Next Executive Director
Diana Peck to conclude five-year tenure in February 2027
JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Library Foundation & Friends (TCLFF) has begun the search for its next Executive Director as Diana Peck prepares to conclude her tenure on February 1, 2027. Peck has led the organization since February 2022, guiding its work to support Teton County Library and helping strengthen the library's role in the community.
The TCLFF Board of Directors has formed an Executive Search Committee and is inviting applications from candidates interested in leading the organization into its next chapter.
During Peck’s tenure, TCLFF completed the 2023 merger of the Teton County Library Foundation and Friends of the Library, developed a unified strategic plan, and established a stronger organizational identity through a comprehensive rebrand and expanded community engagement. The organization has also broadened its role in championing the Library, creating opportunities for community conversation and partnership around the importance of libraries and intellectual freedom.
“Diana has made a meaningful contribution to TCLFF and our library,” said Stewart McIver, president of the TCLFF Board of Directors. “We're grateful for her leadership and the strong foundation she's helped build for the organization's future.”
“It's been a privilege to work alongside people who care so deeply about our library and this community,” said Peck. “I'm proud of what we've built together and grateful to the board members, staff, donors, volunteers, and library partners who make this work possible. I look forward to seeing TCLFF continue to grow its impact in the years ahead.”
The next Executive Director will build on this foundation, working with the TCLFF Board and staff, Teton County Library leadership, donors, volunteers, and community partners to sustain and grow the organization's impact. The role offers an opportunity to strengthen the public-private partnership that supports the Library, lead fundraising and community engagement, oversee organizational operations, and guide the next strategic planning cycle.
"We are looking for a collaborative, relationship-centered leader who believes in the power of public libraries and the difference they make in people's lives,” said Stewart McIver, chair of the Executive Search Committee. “This is an opportunity to build on strong community support and help shape what's next for an organization.”
The full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits. Candidates should have demonstrated nonprofit leadership experience, a successful fundraising track record, and experience working with a nonprofit board. The full job description, including compensation details, is available at supporttclib.org/careers
Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and contact information for two professional references to boardpresident@supporttclib.org. Applications received by Friday, November 6, 2026 will receive priority consideration. The position will remain open until filled. TCLFF anticipates the new Executive Director will begin in early 2027, allowing for a transition period with Peck.
TCLFF's programs and support for the Library, including the annual Library Benefit, will continue uninterrupted throughout the transition.
